Race Report:
Race #1 February 25, 2017 Fort Ord
ECHS earned a third place podium spot as a team! With 14 racers, ECHS was the smallest Division 1 team (the minimum is 12 racers) – other teams ranged from 17 to 38 racers. Truly an outstanding effort by ALL members of the team!
The course had a rolling on-road start before quickly
entering the trails and was about 6 miles long. The trails were fast and had lots of fun, twisty single-track through the trees. Freshman raced for 2 laps and Sophomore and JV riders did 3.
Impressively, out of the 14 racers, 5 were on the podium and 8 were in the top 10 in their category.
