ECHS continued its strong season with another second place finish team finish, strengthening an overall second place in league!
Five members of the team earned medals – 2 firsts, 1 second, 1 third and a fifth and 2 team members continue to wear leader jerseys. Great effort by the entire team with all team members finishing a demanding course!
The course consisted of 5.6 miles of twisty single-track trails with 625′ of climbing spread over numerous short hills. Freshman raced for 2 laps, Sophomores and JV girls did 3 and JV boys did 4.
Freshman Girls: Madeline Hill, 2nd (Podium, overall 2nd place)
Freshman Boys: Keith Emery, 7th; Nitzan Gladstone, 13th; Aiden DeYoung-Ward, 20th
Sophomore Boys: Josh Harnden, 5th (Podium, overall 2nd place); Max Lambert, 7th; Daniel Huebner, 14th; Sebastian Alvarez, 15th; Pedro Perez, 17th; Charlie Borreani, 22nd
JV Girls: Helen Gilbert-Snyder, 1st (Podium, Category Leader); Joan Nanono, 12th
JV Boys: Matt Garrison, 1st (Podium, Category Leader); Evan Garrison, 3rd (Podium, overall 2nd place)
