Race #5 – Six Sigma 2017

Race Report:

Race #5  April 30th, 2017

ECHS competed in the league finals at Six Sigma Ranch & Winery in Lower Lake on Sunday, placing second in the race and securing an overall second place for the season!  The 4.5 mile course had over 600’ of climbing per lap and lots of twists and turns, short climbs and water crossings, and was set on beautiful winery grounds.  Freshman, Sophomores and JV girls did 2 laps and JV boys did 3.  It was an awesome day for the team!
Five ECHS riders earned podium spots for the race (2 firsts and 3 seconds) and 5 members also earned season medals (2 firsts, 2 seconds and 1 third).

This was the last NorCal race of the season before State Championships, wrapping up an amazing 2016-2017 season for ECHS. Congratulations to everyone who raced over the season!
