ECHS competed in the California State Championships on Sunday in Petaluma and earned 10th place as a team (up from 17th last season)! More than 800 riders from across the state participated and the races were very competitive. The 6 mile course was demanding and tested riders’ endurance and bike handling kills with a leg burning 650’ opening climb and lots of tight switchbacks on the descent. Freshman and JV girls did 2 laps and Sophomore and JV boys did 3. Congratulations to all the riders who raced – you did awesome!
