  • Monday, September 22nd, 2025 – Prospective Rider & Parent Info Meeting on Zoom. We will share the slides if you miss it. Please email us at the contact page with any outstanding questions.
  • Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 – Registration Closes
  • Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 – Required Rider / Parent Meeting at School for all athletes, new & returning, time & room TBD.
  • Sunday, November 2, 2025 – First Practice, Tilden Park
  • November 2nd, 2025 – Rider / Parent Party & Kit Fitting
  • November 12, 2025 – First Wednesday Ride

SUGGESTED FAMILY CONTRIBUTION

The suggested family contribution is $325 for the ‘25-‘26 season. This covers the cost of a team kit (jersey + shorts + socks), team insurance, team registration with the league, registration of team coaches with the league, coach training and licensing fees, and team equipment purchases. Through sponsors and fundraising, we are able to help keep this cost down. Other gear (kit, gloves, glasses, shoes, helmet, bike) is not included in this cost, and dues to the NorCal League, plus race registration fees, are paid separately directly to the League.

*Families have the option to make their contributions on a payment plan.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

ECHS Racing has created an environment in which all students who want to participate in the rewarding sport of high school mountain biking have the opportunity to do so. Every rider is welcome and supported. Through sponsorships, grants, and donations, we are able to provide financial aid scholarships for team members in need of financial assistance.

  • If you would like to apply for a full scholarship or partial scholarship, please fill out the Scholarship section of the google form as part of registration.
  • If you qualify for a team scholarship, you may also fill out a NorCal / NICA Scholarship Form. The league historically has charged $100 for registration and $55 per race.

READY TO REGISTER? HERE ARE THE FORMS:

Getting started is simple, just follow the steps below.

STEP 1 – Fill out the online forms:

  1. ECHS MTB Online Registration Form (opens in a new window)
  2. PitZone Registration – After you fill out the online registration form in Step 1, we will use the Parent/Guardian Email provided to send you an invitation to register in the NICA PitZone (this opens to students 10/1). PitZone will collect additional registration information. You will be required to pay a league (~$60) registration fee and a (~$40) NICA membership fee.  If you cannot make this payment, please fill out the scholarship forms (see above) prior to registration.
  3. TeamSnap – After filling out the Online Registration Form and PitZone Registration, you will get an email to join TeamSnap.  Both riders and parents must join TeamSnap, as this is our primary method of communication for the team.

STEP 2 – Fill out the following forms – these can be 1) attached to registration google form, 2) emailed to echsracing@gmail.com (printed is accepted, as is a scan of a digital form) or 3) brought with you to the October 28 meeting.

  1. WCCUSD Physician Clearance/District Medical Form – Bring this form to your doctor and have them fill it out every year. You may already have one from fall sports that you can send in. You can‘t ride without it!
  2. Registration Packet – This contains 2 forms:
    a) WCCUSD Parent Consent for Medical Treatment and Media Consent
    b) Tamarancho Pass application.
    Note: you do not need to include $6 for Tamarancho— the team covers that.  Just fill out the form and return it with the other forms.

    OPTIONAL/ AS NEEDED
  3. Loaner Bike Agreement – To be filled out only if you need a loaner bike and one is available.  Please give this to the coach when you pick up your loaner bike. Loaner bikes require a $150 maintenance fee per season.

STEP 3 – Parent/Guardian Participation

The team needs many adult supporters to operate safely and successfully. Please review the list of Team Support Positions and let us know how you can help. If you have other skills you think will be helpful to the team, let us know.

STEP 4 – Family Contribution options:

  1. Preferred: Pay by Venmo @ECHSMTB-Team
  2. Pay by check, make $325 out to  “Friends of ECHS SAF” and put “MTB – bike” in the memo section you can send it to the address in the registration packet/ on TeamSnap emails.

All forms and contribution or scholarship plan are due by October 28, 2025. All required documents must be submitted before a rider can join practice.
